A warm and cosy log cabin with open plan kitchen/lounge, spacious shower room and private decking.

Our tucked away Log Cabin is all on one level. You enter into the open kitchen/lounge area which has double doors opening out onto the decking. The kitchen is fully equipped to include an under counter fridge, an electric oven with ceramic hob and a microwave oven.
The comfy lounge has a flat screen TV with Freeview and a DVD Player. Shelves below contain a selection of books, DVDs and beside is a wicker basket containing various board games and jigsaws.
The corridor leads to a small bedroom with full sized bunk bed, chest of draws and wardrobe. Further along is a spacious shower room which benefits from an electric-shower. At the end is the larger bedroom with a double bed and chest of draws. All of the beds have luxurious pure British wool baavets.
Outside, the Log Cabin has private decking with lovely views of the valley and over looks the horse school. The decking is furnished with all weather table and chairs – a great space to enjoy your meals on those sunnier days.
The Log Cabin is fully central heated by our biomass boiler (fuelled using our own timber).
Free high speed WiFi is available in all of our accommodations.
Guest access
- Access to the farm is along an un-surfaced track. The only vehicles unable to negotiate the track so far have been large lorries. Low slung vehicles have been fine, however please negotiate with care. If unsure, proceed in a low gear.
- The Log Cabin sits at the top end of the farm complex above the horse barn. You have your own access, can park at the entrance to the log cabin and can come and go as you please.
- Although the Log Cabin is all on one level there is one step into the cabin and there are raised door frames into the rooms, so unfortunately it is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Arrival at Gilfach
You are welcome to arrive at anytime after 2pm. There are signs to the accommodation, the door will be left open for you and the key will be on the table.
